UiRIDE (“we”, “us”) is operated by Tecklogics (Pvt.) Ltd. and provides ride-hailing, pooling, and e-taxi software for passengers and drivers, plus this public website at uiride.com.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our websites and apps, how we use it (including cookies and advertising), and the choices you have.

By using UiRIDE services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

Information we may collect

Account details such as name, phone number, email, and profile information when you register as a passenger or driver.

Trip details including pickup and drop-off locations, route, fare offers, timestamps, and payment or wallet activity needed to complete a ride.

Device and usage data such as app version, device type, IP address, approximate location while using trip features, and diagnostic logs.

Support messages you send through the contact form or in-app support, including optional phone and topic fields.

Website cookies and similar storage as described in our Cookie Policy (essential preferences, and advertising/analytics cookies only when you consent).

03 · How we use data

Why we process information

To operate rides: match passengers and drivers, show offers, track trips, and provide safety tools such as SOS and support.

To create and secure accounts, prevent fraud, verify drivers where required, and maintain service reliability.

To improve product and website quality, diagnose issues, and communicate service updates or responses to your requests.

To show advertising on the public website (uiride.com) when AdSense or similar partners are enabled and you have accepted advertising cookies — see Advertising below.

We do not sell your personal information. UiRIDE’s driver model is zero commission; privacy practices are separate from fare economics.

04 · Advertising & AdSense

Third-party advertising

Our marketing website may display ads served by Google AdSense and related Google advertising services. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com) and reviewing https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

We use a cookie consent banner so advertising cookies and AdSense scripts load only after you choose Accept. Choosing Essential only keeps the site usable without advertising cookies.

Passenger (ride.uiride.com), driver (pro.uiride.com), and admin (console.uiride.com) surfaces are product apps — they are not the AdSense publisher property. In-app advertising, if ever enabled (for example AdMob), would be disclosed and consent-managed separately.

06 · Sharing

When information is shared

With the other party to a trip as needed (for example, first name, vehicle details, live trip status, and contact options during an active ride).

With service providers who host infrastructure, messaging, maps, analytics, or advertising under contractual or published privacy terms (including Google when AdSense is active).

When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the safety of users and the public.

If we reorganize or transfer operations, personal data may move with the service under continued protection commitments.

07 · Children

Age and children’s privacy

UiRIDE services and accounts are intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for passenger or driver accounts.

Our website content is general information about mobility in Pakistan and is not directed at children.

08 · Your rights

Access, control, and retention

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal data we hold about you.

You can update profile details in the apps, manage cookie preferences on the website, and contact us to exercise privacy rights or withdraw consent where applicable.

We keep information only as long as needed for trips, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security — then delete or anonymize it.
